Dr. Takeo Matsumoto

Dr. Matsumoto has over 15 years of experience in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries. He most recently was General Manager of the life sciences division of NOF Corporation, a diversified multinational healthcare and pharmaceutical products company. Takeo was previously director of the biomaterials division and Vice President of U.S. Operations at NOF, where he was responsible for the development of key technologies in medical devices, immunoassay systems, an artificial pancreas, drug delivery systems and polymeric drugs. Dr. Matsumoto holds a Ph.D. in chemical engineering from Kagoshima University and a B.E. in chemical engineering from the Tokyo Institute of Technology. He is also Research Fellow at the Institute for Medical and Dental Engineering, Tokyo Medical and Dental University and Visiting Professor of Kagoshima University in Japan. |
