Kanichiro "Ken" Suzuki

Ken Suzuki has fostered his business career in Nomura Research Institute since 1978. He is a recognized expert in technology venture management, investment strategy, and organizational change. He has held various positions in investment and management such as head of global equity research for Nomura Securities and headed up the Paris office of Nomura Research. Moreover, Ken Suzuki has held board positions in U.S. and Japanese corporations and has variously advised multinational corporation and governments including a project for MITI to establish the Japanese Limited Partnership Act that has transformed the Japanese venture capital industry by introducing U.S.-style Corporate governance and tax advantages. His educational qualifications include a B.A. in Economics from Waseda University in Japan and an M.B.A. from the Kenan-Flagler School, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He was a visiting scholar at the Hoover Institution in Stanford University and is an author of numerous books and papers about Organizational IQ, Entrepreneurship, Investment Strategy, etc. He is a visiting professor in venture management at Kaetsu University, is a registered securities analyst and is a member of the Japan Finance association.
