Oct 21, 2002 Japanese Government to Utilize GNI Technology and Systems in Major Post-genome Project
The Agricultural Resources Research Institute of the Japanese Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries has selected GNI on a gene expression project to discover regulatory pathways influenced by agrochemicals and toxic agents. The project is titled "Exploitation of the insect genome for identification of useful gene targets and development of related technologies." The Ministry has chosen to use MIAME compliant technologies developed by GNI for quality control, storage and analysis of large scale expression microarray data and will also call on GNI's expertise in pathway based gene discovery and microarray production.
